What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a healing modality that uses a blend of Western and Traditional Chinese medicine, using a technique called muscle monitoring in order to assess information about a person’s health and well-being.

Muscle monitoring enables us to access feedback from the brain via the central nervous system. As stress can cause the muscles to behave differently so we can use the muscles and body to tell us where there is an imbalance that might be held in a person’s sub conscious mind and on an energetic level.

A fundamental principle of Kinesiology is that the body has innate healing energy and at all times it is doing its best to care for itself, but sometimes it needs to be helped into a better position to achieve this care.

Kinesiology bypasses conscious thinking processes to isolate causal factors in a person’s being, whether emotional, psychological, spiritual, or in the subconscious and therefore able to tap into energies that other modalities cannot and look beyond the symptoms.

This is what makes Kinesiology so unique!

While Kinesiology does not treat named diseases, nor does it diagnose them. It can be a positive addition to your healing regime and can work in conjunction with your current medical treatment plan.

Some of the more common conditions Kinesiology can help with are:

  • Stress – work, relationships, family, money, life’s sudden challenges

  • Anxiety

  • Pain

  • Depression

  • Tiredness

  • Relationship problems

  • Goal setting

  • Confidence building

  • Sleep problems

  • General well being

Everyone can benefit from kinesiology! From young children to the elderly – even if you’re healthy you will still gain from a kinesiology session.
